1/2-1 lbs 1/2-1 Compliant Crab
1/2 lbs 1/2 Cooked Shrimp
1/3 cup 1/3 Avocado mayo (or mayo of choice)
1 Tablespoon 1 Compliant Dried Lemon Zest
1 1 Fresh Lemon juiced
1 Teaspoon 1 Garlic powder
1 Teaspoon 1 Onion powder
1 Teaspoon 1 Smoked paprika **Omit for AIP
1 Teaspoon 1 Chalula **Omit for AIP
Directions
- Ensure that both the shrimp and crab are cooked and diced. If using frozen seafood, thaw and drain any excess moisture. In a mixing bowl, gently combine the diced shrimp and crab.

- Sprinkle the compliant dried lemon zest over the seafood mixture. Adjust the amount to suit your taste preferences. Squeeze fresh lemon juice directly over the seafood mixture. This will add a zesty, citrusy flavor. Sprinkle a pinch of garlic powder and onion powder over the mixture. Adjust the seasoning to your taste. If you desire a smoky flavor, add a pinch of smoked paprika. Note that this ingredient is omitted for AIP. For a touch of heat, add a dash of Cholula hot sauce. Omit this step if following an AIP diet.

- Using a spatula or spoon, gently toss all the ingredients together until they are evenly mixed. Taste the salad and adjust the seasonings, lemon juice, or hot sauce to suit your preferences.
- If you prefer your salad cold, cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving. Serve the Crab and Shrimp Salad on a bed of fresh greens, in a sandwich, on crackers, or in any of the versatile ways mentioned earlier.
